How Celebrities Are Spending Their Time Stuck at Home

Celebrities With much of the country stuck at home until further notice due to the coronavirus, many people are taking to social media to share how they’ve been staying occupied, and celebrities are no exception. Just like the rest of us, they are taking advantage of this time to relax, learn new skills, catch up on their favorite forms of entertainment, or simply enjoy the spaces they live in.

Celebrities

From starting new workout routines to serenading their spouses, Hollywood’s A-listers are getting creative when it comes to passing the time away from their typical busy schedules of travel, red carpets, photo shoots, and beyond. Below, we’ve rounded up a few of the most interesting things on their agendas.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez

Having the kids at home full-time doesn’t have to be all work and no fun. The baseball star, the singer, and their four kids (Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha and Ella, and Lopez’s twins, Emme and Maximilian) showed off their dance skills just outside their Miami home last week. The family is currently hunkered down at Rodriguez’s Coral Gables house, a midcentury-modern dwelling the former Yankees player helped design and build several years ago. In the video, fans can catch a glimpse of the home’s perfectly landscaped brick driveway lined with trees and lights.

Madonna

The megastar is finding innovative ways to stay busy and creative during her time self-quarantined at her home in Portugal. Madonna shared a two-minute video of herself typing away at an old-fashioned typewriter Monday for what she dubbed her “quarantine diaries.” In a voiceover, she documents her day, noting her “one hour of sunshine in the garden.” She and her family are also discussing their favorite painters during this time. Presently, the Queen of Pop lives in an 18th-century Moorish Revival mansion in Portugal, where she moved in late 2017. She previously shared a since-deleted clip in which she called COVID-19 the “great equalizer” while soaking in a marble bathtub full of rose petals and lined with tea candles.

Ashley Tisdale

“We’re all in this together” isn’t just the title of the catchy song from the 2008 film High School Musical. It’s also HSM alumna Tisdale’s new mantra as she gets her workout on at home in a tie-dyed sweatpants-sweatshirt combo. Tisdale is currently holed up in her 1930s Colonial-style Hollywood Hills home, which she renovated with the help of her father, Mike Tisdale, in 2017. While it’s not clear where this particular video was shot, Tisdale has been sharing little glimpses into other parts of her home as well.
