Celebrity Cruises Solstice is a 122,000 ton, 2850 passenger cruise ship that entered service in November 2008. She was the 1st in a series of 5 Solstice-class cruise ships, such as the Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, Silhouette, and Reflection. From the minute I stepped on to the Solstice, I realized this a single was distinctive. The Solstice had calming, soothe shade palettes, with rich darkish wood panels and earth tone walls. The spa, the lawn club, hot glass clearly show, the service, and ship alone had been awesome. The Solstice was sophisticated nevertheless understated it felt high-class to me.
The cabins were being extremely cozy and Zen-like, and I felt like I was being at a spa. I experienced the enjoyment of being in a balcony stateroom, with a supple white leather couch that doubled as a bed, and the bedding was attractive and really comfy. The shower had a shave-bar…a function I observed pretty valuable when shaving my legs.
The pool area was like absolutely nothing I experienced ever observed. There ended up dancing waters..and comfy lounge chairs. I primarily loved the cabanas all-around the pool.
Eating onboard the Solstice was amazing. The food was delicious. The supper choices at the Grand Epernay Eating Area every evening ended up great, and decadent. Relaxed buffet dining is presented at the Oceanview Cafe. There is also a incredible variety of specialty eating places, which includes Murano serving French cuisine, a steakhouse for meat fans…Tuscan Grille, Silk Harvest serving Asian cuisine, and Blu Restaurant – serving nutritious fare for all AquaClass friends. The specialty eating restaurants do have a surcharge, but are effectively worth striving for anything unique, or for specific occasions.
The Solstice is calming, stress-free, and stylish but not stuffy. Movie star has a luxurious line of ships in the Solstice class….and have accomplished an fantastic job. It exceeded my expectations of what a ship should really be…I was wowed.
Clients looking for a little something a lot more than a bash ship ambiance, food items and wine lovers, or individuals on the lookout to cruise in a luxurious ship without luxury pricing will love the Celebrity Solstice.
The Solstice sails the Caribbean in the winter season, and the Mediterranean in the summer time.
